The seat reupholstery components which apply to 1973-76 models will also fit 1977-80 models
if you think houndstooth plaid is evolving too far from the Spitfire's roots. But if you love your
houndstooth seats, you can also restore them to original condition.
TRF is able to supply seat reupholstery kits in original colours and materials and also seat foam
padding and seat back support straps. If you plan to rebuild your seats yourself you will want to
proceed carefully, fully understanding exactly how your seats were assembled originally. You will
want to take photographs and take notes. When you have your new kits in hand, you will want to
make sure that they are fitted in the same fashion as the original components.
Material and colour samples are available for free upon request. Please state model and year, along with
colours desired when requesting material samples.
