The mounts listed here are all variations of the rubber mount used on Triumph
models, starting with the later TR4 and Spitfire mk.1. The rubber mounts are effective
and they deaden vibration from the road. If you want an economical mount that allows
less deflection or if you live in a very hot climate where rubber mounts disintegrate
quickly, consider the urethane rack mounts. If you want high-performance with no
deflection under high turning loads, then fit the solid alloy mounts. Note that stock
rubber mounts probably transmit the least road vibration and the solid alloy mounts the
