“TRF Manufactures the Leather Covered Knob Specified for U.S.
Models”
The black leather gearshift knobs have been important parts at The Roadster
Factory for many years, although they were discontinued by Unipart in the 1970's. The
Roadster Factory located the original English supplier, and it made thousands of knobs
for us over a fifteen year period. But technologies changed, and the original knob was
no longer produced at the original manufacturing company. We showed the knob to our
rep from Taiwan when he visited us. No problem he said. Since that time, thousands
more have been sold!
