This was the last year for A-type overdrive, and the reason for the minor changes to the
system which began in 1973 was the new gearbox mounting bracket required for J-type
overdrive. In addition to the exhaust pipes and muffler, all of the hangers, clamps, and
hardware are also listed here, and you may want to refer to this section again later for
the listings of these components. Look ahead to find listings for complete exhaust
systems with or without mounting hardware.
