"Rebuilding Your TR250 or TR6 Heater at Home"
Heaters are fairly simple, and you can rebuild yours at home if you take a little care
not to destroy any irreplaceable parts. The plastic fan is the thing to watch, for it is
easily broken if you try to remove it from the old motor. We used to have a source for
these, but it isn't there anymore. The one I was involved with, we completely
disassembled the unit, bead blasted the housing, and then reassembled it with a new fan
and a new heater core. We did break the fan, but we had new ones available then, so it
was not the end of the world.
