If you are converting from disc wheels to wire wheels, the studs on the front and
rear hubs must be shortened. You can do this by installing the hub adaptors with the
special nuts and then hack-sawing the ends of the studs flush with the special nuts, or
you can change the studs from the disc wheel type to the shorter wire wheel type.
