HOW TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT TONNEAU
COVER FOR YOUR TR2, TR3
At TRF much time has been spent studying the different tonneau covers listed in the
factory parts catalogue for the TR2 and TR3 models. During the production of these
cars there were five different change points listed by the factory. In some cases, the
changes are obvious and the correct tonneau cover can be supplied based on
commission number. In other cases, the customer will need to study our listings and
compare them to his or her car to make a selection.
The very earliest tonneau cover for the TR2 was fitted up to commission number
TS1871. That tonneau cover was longer from front to back than covers fitted after that
point as the Tenax pegs on the dash were fitted in front of the dash capping piece. On
later TR2s the Tenax pegs, and then Lift-The-Dot pegs after TS5256, were fitted
through the dash capping piece. This longer tonneau cover is not currently available.
