DASH RECOVERING KITS
“Kits to Allow You to Recover Your Dash to Match the Rest of
Your New TRF Interior”
Material in the kits listed below matches the material used on other TRF interior
kits. Three pieces of vinyl material are included for recovering the dash, the glove box
door, and for earlier cars (1954-57), the center dash panel. Earlier dashes were covered
in vinyl and had a sewn-in pocket around the steering column. Later dashes were
different in this area and the material is pulled into the steering column area and glued
down. They have a moulded cover and no stitching around the steering column
opening.
Beginning in 1958, the center gauge panels on TR3As and TR3Bs were finished in
black wrinkle finish, that can be nicely duplicated using the black wrinkle finish paint
listed below.
