BATTERY HOLD-DOWNS, TR2, TR3
The original hold-down kit is effective for street driving or for autocross. Four
battery pads are listed, and we have always assumed that you use two stacks of two
under the battery to keep the battery box drain clear. I have also seen two stacks of one
behind the battery, which is not a bad idea, I think. The battery box listed is TRF's own
product which is worth the difference in price from others you will find elsewhere.
Note that I have stopped using the plastic battery box liner as batteries don't seem to
leak like they used to.
