If you have your front
suspension torn down for overhaul,
you might as well go the whole
way... At this point, removal of the
entire crossmember is easy, and
with it removed, you can clean it up
or sandblast it for repainting or
powder-coating. If your
crossmember is not rusted out now,
this work will make it last a long
time. Replacing crossmember
mounting pads and hardware will
provide that solid new-car feel that
you cannot get any other way! For
