The Roadster Factory
1975 Only
EXHAUST HANGERS, BRACKETS, AND CLAMPS,
MGB, 1975-80
Exhaust systems for all MGB models from 1975 up to 1980 used
essentially the same mountings. The 1975 system did not include a catalytic
converter, and the front pipe attached directly to the manifold with mountings
specific to 1975 models. The 1976 up to 1980 models required a catalytic
converter which mounted directly to the manifold, and the front exhaust pipe
mounted to the catalytic converter. Kits specific to the 1976-80 models secured
the catalytic converter to the manifold and the front pipe to the catalytic
converter. Aside from these, all fittings are identical for 1975 up to 1980
models.
EXHAUST HANGERS, BRACKETS, AND CLAMPS,
MGB, 1962-74
Exhaust systems for MGB models from 1962 up to 1974 all used
essentially the same mountings. The three-piece system is illustrated with all
fittings in place. The five-piece system, if used, would require two additional
clamp kits of part no. RFK200. An earlier rear hanger is used from 1962 up to
1969 and a later one from 1969 up to 1974.
