The Roadster Factory
WIRING HARNESSES, MGB 1977-80
MGB wiring continued to evolve in the late 1970's, and a main harness was
no longer listed as such. Harnesses were now known as engine bay harnesses,
dash harnesses, and body harnesses. It is amazing that MG was able to evolve
the simple car of the early 1960's into a car that fit the vastly different
regulations of the late 1970's. Wiring harnesses listed here are complete with
colour-coded wires and all end fittings.
Supplementary wiring leads for such
items as overdrive and
headlamps are not
included with the dash
harnesses, the engine
bay harness, or the
body harnesses, and we
list them separately.
