MGB MODELS,

By 1970, U.S. regulations
required sidemarker lamps, and
MG, with help from Lucas,
provided lamps which fit the
character of the car very well.
As the regulations required
more and larger lamps, I
remember the R.A.F.
mechanic who ran a dealership
here in Pennsylvania making the
statement through his bushy
moustache in a British accent, "They're
decorating the MG's and Triumph's like bloody
Christmas trees."
