FRONT FENDER SPLASH PLATES, TR2, TR3
When TRF was founded in 1978, this writer manufactured these himself, and I
still have a pair of the hand-made plates on my own TR3A.  They sold rather well,
and eventually, Iinvested in tooling to do them right.  That was the first piece of
tooling produced for The Roadster Factory in early 1980.

TRF has been making better splash plates for a long time, and it has been a long
time since we decided to have them powder-coated.  They look great, and they will
last a very long time.  Splash plates were installed after the body was painted so that
some attempt could be made to paint inside the front fenders.  Therefore, they were
usually or always black rather than the body colour.
