STEERING COLUMN "WOBBLE KITS," TR4, TR4A,
TR250, TR6, SPITFIRE, GT6
Does your steering column wobble back and forth or up and down?  If so, the
reason is that your inner and outer column mountings and bushes have deteriorated.
I developed the kit listed here in the early 1980's when I purchased at TR250 with a
wobbly steering column.  I recommend removing the upper column from the car,
cleaning everything, and painting the upper outer column and cowl assembly.  Then
you can replace the bushes and install the steering column with new felt mounts.

P.S.  I have listed the wiring covers, as the little tab is often broken off originals.
If you are taking out your upper steering column, then I suggest also replacing the
wiring cover...
