The original Girling master cylinder has been discontinued, and the one TRW
is supplying as a replacement does not have the correct push rod.  Therefore, TRF is
supplying an aftermarket unit which appears to work very well.

We at TRF mourned the takeover of Lucas Girling some years ago by TRW,
and for some time, our fears were justified.  When a supplier of British car parts is
taken over by a multi-national conglomerate, the usual result is that all of the
British car parts are discontinued, and that is pretty much what happened over the
first couple of years.  During that time, all manner of aftermarket hydraulic
components cluttered the market, some viable and some clearly not.  Over the past
couple of years, however, TRW has reinstated the availability of various master
cylinders, slave cylinders, and wheel cylinders for popular Triumph applications.
The new products are branded as TRW rather than Girling, but generally, the have a
similar appearance with updates.  TRF is thankful to have continuing availability of
TRW for our customers and for ourselves.

slotted and spot-drilled front brake discs offered last year
for TR4A, TR250, TR6.  These are slotted for cooler brakes
and spot drilled to break down surface gases without
weakening the discs.  We sold out of these for the later
models last year, but our source is currently machining new
blanks for both model ranges.  Use these with EBC Green
Stuff pads for a significant improvement of your braking
power...
