TRIUMPH TRS LE MANS RACE CAR
© The Roadster Factory
TRF has been engaged for some years in the restoration of X654
(926 HP) which carried the race number 27 in 1961. It was the
highest-placing Triumph, and the team of three cars won the Georges
Durand Coupe, the team prize.
Restoring the car is a lifetime goal of Charles Runyan and TRF.
Much work has been done, but the engine rebuild, seats, and a new
windscreen frame remain to be accomplished. Most of the restoration
done so far was completed by Randy Phillippi.
