BRAD PENN GL4 GEAR LUBE FOR GEARBOXES,
DIFFERENTIALS, AND STEERING BOXES
"Especially Formulated for Use with Brass, Bronze, and
Copper Bushes, Synchros, and Thrust Washers Used in TR2
and TR3 Gearboxes, Differentials, and Steering Boxes"
Castrol discontinued its GL4 Gear Lube in Autumn 2011,
but thankfully, we at TRF had just received a press release
from American Refining Group, Inc. which operates the
former Kendall Refinery in Bradford, Pennsylvania to produced
automotive oils and lubricants under the name of "Brad Penn."
The press release informed us that Brad Penn's version of GL4
would be released soon.  In reality, it was months before we
received our first shipment, but we have plenty of Brad Penn
GL 4 Gear Lube in stock now, and we have already shipped
several hundred quarts to customers.
By the way, it is generally known that using GL5 Gear
Lube, the type commonly sold in auto parts stores now, can
damage "yellow metal" components used in many American
and imported classic gearboxes and differentials.  Therefore, it
is worth making the extra effort required to find the correct
grade for your Triumph sports cars.  TRF is making this as
easy as possible for you by listing it here.

LUCAS FUEL STABILIZER COMBATS
BAD EFFECTS OF ETHANOL IN PUMP
GAS
"Prevents Damage to Seals in Fuel Pumps and
Carburettors and Stabilizes Ethanol Fuel Which
Can Deteriorate in Just Two Weeks if It Sits in
Your Fuel Tank"
TRF customers have experienced more leaks in fuel system
components with ethanol fuel. Use of ethanol fuels also increases
rust and corrosion in fuel tanks and other components.  Lucas
"Safeguard" Ethanol Fuel Conditioner solves these problems while
prolonging the short life of gasoline with ethanol by stabilizing the
fuel and preventing the formation of gum and varnish.  We have
performed experiments where we placed various fuel system seals in
gasoline with ethanol and in gasoline with ethanol and fuel stabilizer.
Seals in ethanol fuel without stabilizer shrank noticeably while seals
in fuel with stabilizer did not.  I have started using this product now
myself even in my lawn mower gas...
